DG Bets: Three Picks for Tuesday Night

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Tonight, we have 9 games on the card, with lots of good opportunities to make some money. I have recently started taking more team related bets rather than just player props, so expect more of those moving forward.

Let’s dive into today’s picks…

Pick #1 – Cole Caufield Goal (+148 BS)

Cole Caufield has scored in 43% of his games this year. He has scored atleast 1 goal in 8/11 home games this season (73%). He also has not scored in 2 games. He hasn’t gone 3 games without a goal all season. That last sentence feels like a trap bet; however, with his home ice success, I like his chances of scoring tonight.

Pick #2 – CGY/FLA o6.5 (+100 DK)

The Panthers allow 3.36 goals per game and the Flames allow 3.19 goals per game. Those numbers increase to 3.6 on the road and 3.3 at home for both teams, respectively. The Panthers score 3.0 goals per game on the road, while the Flames score 3.3 goals per game at home. With the Panthers coming in after a rough game last night, I expect a lot of goals to be scored tonight.

Pick #3 – Sebastian Aho o2.5 Shots (-120 DK)

Sebastian Aho has a hit rate of 55% this season for over 2.5 shots. In his last 10 games he has hit 7 times (70%). His away hit rate is 53%, which is pretty consistent with his overall hit rate. He faces the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight, who allow the 5th most shots per game and the 5th most shots to opposing Centers.

TLDR Summary:

  1. Caufield Goal (+148)
  2. CGY/FLA o6.5 (+100)
  3. Aho (CAR) o2.5 Shots (-120)

I could easily add a few more bets tonight; however, I am not overly confident in anything as of now. If that changes, I will tweet below this article link for you all to see.

There seems to be a glaring bias in Flyers fandom these days. As much as I want to talk about Danny Briere as new Philadelphia Flyers General Manager, I can’t
