1st Period

Detroit opened the scoring just 2:43 into the game with the 24th goal of the season for Dylan Larkin as he ripped a shot that deflected past Carter Hart on the Power play. Lucas Raymond (25) and Moritz Seider (26) each assisted on the goal.

Isaac Ratcliffe would tie the score just 20 seconds later as he deflected a turnaround snap-shot from Zac MacEwen passed Alex Nedeljkovic. Zac MacEwen (3) and Nick Seeler (1) were credited with assists.

Lucas Raymond would score his 12th of the season with assists from Filip Hronek (23) and Dylan Larkin (23) with 13:58 left in the period.

Travis Sanheim would once again knot the score just 24 seconds later this time with his 3rd of the season, assisted by Claude Giroux (21) and Oskar Lindblom (9).

2nd Period

Pius Suter opened the 2nd period scoring with 12:48 left in the period, assisted by Fabbri (11) and Bertuzzi (19).

Robby Fabbri would pot his 13th of the season less than 5 minutes later with assists from Pius Suter (11) and Moritz Seider (27).

Scott Laughton would continue the trend of scoring 20 or so seconds after Detroit as he scored his 8th of the season 21 seconds after Detroit took a 2 goal lead. Travis Konecny (18) and Nick Seeler (2) provided assists.

3rd Period

Givani Smith renewed Detroit’s 2 goal lead with his 4th of the season,  assisted by Joe Veleno (3) and Gustav Lindstrom (9) 11:14 into the final frame.

Vladislav Nemistinkov put the icing on the cake with an empty netter as Detroit would go on to win the game by a final score of 6-3.

The Flyers and Red Wings each play again Saturday in Detroit, at noon.
