The Flyers have reduced their Training Camp Roster now to 65 players as forward Antoine Roussel was released from his professional try-out (PTO) and forward Theo Rochette was released from his amateur try-out.
Rochette will return to the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) where he scored 33 goals and 99 points last season.
Born in Roubaix, France, Roussel broke into the NHL in 2012-13 season with the Dallas Stars where he would spend six seasons before signing a 4 year, 12 million dollar deal with the Vancouver Canucks. Coming off a season where he missed six weeks due to a lower-body-injury, Roussel signed a PTO with the Flyers just before the beginning of Training Camp.
Flyers Training Camp resumes tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. in Voorhees.
