Flyers Reduce Training Camp Roster

The Flyers reduced their training camp roster by 5 on Monday evening and signed forward Cal O’Reilly to a professional try-out (PTO). The decision was made around 5pm Monday by GM Chuck Fletcher.

Forwards Michael Huchette and Tyler Savard were released from their amateur try-out contracts (ATO) and 2022 7th round pick,  Alexis Gendron, was sent back to Blainville-Boisbriand of the QMJHL.

2021 6th round pick, D Ethan Samson was sent back to Prince George of the WHL and 2021 4th round pick, D Brian Zanetti, was sent back to Peterborough of the OHL.

Cal O’Reilly will join camp on a PTO starting Tuesday, September 27. O’Reilly scored 21 goals and recorded 53 points with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms last season.

Training Camp resumes Tuesday at 10 a.m. (ET). The team will then travel to Buffalo for their second preseason game.

Start time 7 p.m.
