Flyers Prospect Alex Bump To Play for Western Michigan

Philadelphia Flyers 2022 fifth round pick, Alex Bump, will play for Western Michigan after hitting the transfer portal last month.

Originally expected to play for the University of Vermont, Bump chose to enter into the NCAA transfer portal after Vermont Coach, Todd Woodcroft, was fired.

Bump shared a picture of the Western Michigan logo on his Instagram story, signifying his decision.

After scoring 14 goals and 39 points in the USHL between Tri-City and Omaha last season, Bump heads into his freshman year at Western Michigan as a 19 year old.
