The NHL offseason has a lot of moving parts and it can be hard to keep up, especially with a large offseason due up for the Philadelphia Flyers. There are a lot of rumors that float around, often from both fake and credible sources. This is a new daily update mill that I want to start in order to provide quick updates (attached with sources/tweets) in order to address daily rumors that you might see on your twitter feed, or for those who don’t have twitter: these updates can come to your attention.
This update mill will be posted daily.
Philadelphia Flyers are rumored to trade Jake Voracek and a 1st Round Pick to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for Vladamir Tarasenko

Some teams interested in Vladimir Tarasenko have reached out to Seattle about selecting him in the Expansion Draft and flipping him to their club. If the right offer presents itself, Kraken may be willing to retain a portion of his contract.

Told “if” Seattle drafts Vladimir Tarasenko it will not be his final destination. #stlblues

As mentioned yesterday, Anthony San Filippo of the Snow The Goalie Podcast originally leaked the groundwork for a potential Tarasenko/Voracek trade swap that allegedly did not include a 1st Round Pick. Today, Frank Seravalli said that a 1st Round Pick would most likely be included in such deal. It is almost common consensus around the league that the Seattle Kraken will select Vladimir Tarasenko from the St. Louis Blues in the NHL Expansion Draft on Wednesday and then will immediately flip him to another team in exchange for picks and prospects, according to St. Luis Blues Reporter, Andy Strickland.
Philadelphia Flyers and Buffalo Sabres discussed a Jack Eichel and Rasmus Ristolainen trade last month

At 54:05 of the July 19th episode of BSH Radio, The Athletic’s Charlie O’Connor states that last month, the Flyers and Sabres were in talks about Rasmus Ristolainen and Jack Eichel’s name came up. O’Connor goes on to say that he “believes that ship has sailed” in terms of Jack Eichel. He also goes on to say that he does NOT believe that the Flyers are front-runners for Jack Eichel. Even if nothing materializes, this is a pure indication that Chuck Fletcher is not messing around this off-season.
Philadelphia Flyers could pursue UFA defensemen David Savard and/or Adam Larsson in free agency
As Philly explores the D market, told another player on their radar once the Free Agent doors open is David Savard.
Furthermore, if he makes it there, Adam Larsson is another name I'd expect them to be in on.#anytimeanywhere

According to the Fourth Period, the Flyers will express interest in 28-year old right-handed defenseman, Adam Larsson and 30 year old right-handed defenseman, David Savard. The Flyers have been frequently linked to Adam Larsson this offseason and Savrad would be another veteran defenseman to pair on the 2nd or 3rd defensive pair. Savard earned $4.25 million AAV on his last contract, while Larsson earned $4.16 million AAV.
