After sweeping the board yesterday, going 3-0 (+5.3u), we are back at it for another day of hockey betting. There are only three games tonight, one of which includes our Philadelphia Flyers.

Let’s dive right in to today’s bets…

Bet #1 – Bennett/Rantanen o2.5 Shots (+161)

Sam Bennett was really good at hitting shot props last season. He averaged 3.4 shots per game (4.3 at home) and hit over 2.5 shots 65% of the time. He’s also hit in 2 out of 3 games so far to start the year. Even though the Flyers are red hot right now, they have still allowed an average of 35 shots per game. I like our chances with Bennett tonight.

Mikko Rantanen has let me down the past two times I’ve bet him, but that will not stop me from taking his o2.5 line. He hit on over 2.5 shots 68% of the time last season, averaging 3.4 shots per game and a slightly higher 3.6 shots per game at home. It’s also important to mention that the Jets have allowed an average of 35 shots per game, same as the Flyers.

Bet #2 – Kyle Connor o3.5 Shots (+140)

Originally when I checked the books this morning I saw o2.5 shots for Connor. He hits that 75% of the time. Then, after checking back an hour or so later, that line immediately changed to o3.5 for a wild +140. Kyle Connor hit o3.5 shots 53% of the time last season and with a line as juiced as this one, I could not resist.

If you are still getting o2.5 for Connor, I would suggest pairing that with Bennett in the Panthers/Flyers game.

Honorable Mention – Flyers PL (+120)

This is biased, but I find it odd that the Flyers PL (+1.5 goals) is +120 tonight. We are in a back-to-back and Carter Hart will not get the start tonight, but with the Panthers missing their top two defenseman, I think we have more than a chance at winning tonight. Philadelphia literally can’t lose right now, so if you’re bet happy, toss a little bit on the boys tonight.
