Flyers Recall Ronnie Attard

In response to Jamie Drysdale’s injury, the Flyers have recalled defenseman Ronnie Attard from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Having played 46 games with the Phantoms this season, Attard has showcased offensive talents, tallying 10 goals and contributing 15 assists. His career with the Flyers spans 17 career games, during which he has notched four points, including two goals.

Turning 25 on March 20, Attard is no longer a young player the Flyers can be patient with. Attard needs to take advantage of his current opportunity to show the he indeed is an NHL player.

As the Flyers rotate defensive pairs during today’s practice, the anticipation builds to see whether Attard will find a spot in the lineup for Friday night’s game or if the team will opt for seven or six defensemen.
