The NHL offseason has a lot of moving parts and It can be hard to keep up, especially with a large offseason due up for the Philadelphia Flyers. There are a lot of rumors that float around, often from both fake sources and credible sources. This is a new daily update mill that I want to start in order to provide quick updates (attached with sources/tweets) in order to address daily rumors that you might see on your twitter feed, or for those who don’t have twitter: these updates can come to your attention.

Philadelphia Flyers trade defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere, a 2022 2nd Round Pick and a 2022 7th Round Pick to the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for salary cap relief.

Philadelphia Flyers are reportedly OUT of the Jack Eichel sweepstakes but still could pursue a trade with Buffalo for forward Sam Reinhart and defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen

A. Flyers are still in the open market for a right-handed defenseman
Fletcher confirms that they are in the market for a RHD. Says that they have options there internally, but "a right shot would be great."

B. Some teams asked for defensive prospect Cam York or the 13th overall pick in exchange for taking Shayne Gostisbehere
Fletcher said he spoke with every team over the league over the last half year. One team wanted York to take Ghost. Another wanted the 13th overall pick.

C. Defenseman prospects Cam York or Yegor Zamula could get top 6 minutes to start the season
Fletcher said team could have had both Ellis and Ghost on it hockeywise. This was a cap move. But also hopeful York and/or Zamula can contribute in NHL while still on their ELCs.

D. Chuck is actively listening to offers on the 13th Overall Pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft
CF on listening to offers for our 2021 1st round pick: “We’re ready to draft at 13. I will say I’m open to using it if we can add a player that can help us. I’m more active on listening on 13 this year than previous years…If something makes sense via trade, we’ll look into it.”

E. Chuck Fletcher drops a potential hint that they’ll have a “better team by next Wednesday”
