Philadelphia Flyers forward Bobby Brink is set to five months after undergoing hip surgery.
Brink underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left hip. The surgery was performed by Dr. Christoper Larson of Twin Cities Orthopedics in Minneapolis.
The Flyers 2019 2nd round pick is expected to miss approximately five months, putting him on track to return in late December or early January.
After an outstanding season in which Brink recorded 57 points in 41 games, won the NCAA title with the University of Denver, was a finalist for the Hobey Baker award, and oh made his debut for the Philadelphia Flyers, Brink will have to wait awhile to return back to action for the Orange and Black.
Even though Brink only appeared in 10 games last season, he hardly looked out of place as he added 4 assists during those 10 games.
They say good things come to those who wait, hopefully that is the case here as we wish a speedy recovery for the Flyers prospect.
