Every Flyers Rookie Is Hysterical When Mic’ed Up

Holy balls, has this group been touched by the blessed hand of Kevin Hayes, or what?!

Entertainment, ladies and gentlemen.

It’s nice to see these kids, who may seem shy at first, come out of their shell and really entertain when given the opportunity.

It’s even more impressive when you consider how skilled a lot of them are at a young age. It’s the equivalent to having the shot of Ilya Kovalchuck whilst having the comedic personality of Richard Pryor.

It’s funny. These kids are a good 2-3 years younger than me, at least, and I sit at home, writing articles about them, sip on white claws and idolize them.

Alright, well that was depressing.

We move on!

In case you missed it, sit back, relax, and enjoy the four mic’ed up videos released by the Flyers NHL twitter account:

Wade Allison (LION!)

This man is simply a riot. “ONE MODE WADE” has a better ring to it than “One Nut Johnson”. Not similar things. Wade kind of reminds me of a young Scott Hartnell. It has nothing to do with the hair. Definitely not the hair.

I also can’t be the only one that audibly laughs out loud when he yells, “HEY, STEWIE! Ain’t none of that funny business in the blue”. Lion also showing what a stand up guy he is whilst introducing himself to a rookie goalie. Stand up guy. Cheers, Wade.

Tyson Foerster

One thing about Tyson Foerster: “SNIPE”. This guy can absolutely fire the burnt biscuit. The burnt breakfast ham. The burnt sausage. Pretty much any circular burnt breakfast food. Let’s hope Foerster can develop and perfect “the Jagr bump”.

Morgan Frost

The only thing more beautiful than Frost’s silky set of mitts is when he savagely yells “ANKLES”. I truly and firmly believe that Morgan Frost possesses the propensity to break ankles like AI in 2000. A “greasy win” indeed, Morgan.

Cam York

I mentioned this previously, but the delivery on Cam York’s Benchwarmers reference was, in a word: Exquisite. Perfect execution from the future Brian Leetch.

Just a pure bunch of beauties, can’t wait to see these guys contribute (or continue to contribute) at the NHL level.
