After a big week last week, +5.29u, we attempt to secure another winning week in this early stage of the season.

Let’s dive into today’s plays…

Bet #1 – Kane o3.5 Shots & Kyrou o2.5 Shots (+220)

I am targeting the Oilers/Penguins game tonight for shots. Both teams have allowed a lot of shots against so far this season at 32.8 and 35, respectively. Evander Kane averaged 3.5 shots per game last season, 4 shots at home. He hit on over 3.5 shots 47% of the time last season and has hit in 3 of 5 games to start the year.

Kyrou has been automatic to start the year, hitting over 2.5 shots in all three of his games. He also hit over 2.5 51% of the time last season. I like him tonight against a Jets team that has allowed 32.6 shots per game so far this year.

Bet #2 – Rakell/Tarasenko o2.5 Shots (+185)

Again, I am targeting this Oilers/Penguins game for shots tonight. With Guentzel potentially out, I expect Rakell to have a bigger role. Rakell averaged 2.6 shots per game last season, hitting over 2.5 shots 46% of the time. With an increased role, I expect him to hit the mark tonight. He has hit in 4 of 5 game so far this season.

Tarasenko is another player I like for shots tonight. I am hedging the Kryou bet here, but I expect both players to hit tonight. Worst case, I would hope one of the two hit their shot mark against the Jets. Tarasenko hit 56% of the time last year and has hit in 2 of 3 games so far this season.

Bet #3 – Nylander/Pettersson o2.5 Shots (+164)

In tonight’s late games I am taking Nylander and Pettersson. Nylander has been great so far this season, hitting in 5 of 6 games. He hit 56% of the time last season and averaged 3.5 against the Knights. Pettersson has been automatic so far this season, hitting over 2.5 shots in 100% of his games. I expect that trend to continue tonight
