We have four games on the card tonight, with a lot of promise for shots on goal. Let’s dive into the picks I have made thus far tonight…

Pick #1 – Burns/Kadri o2.5 shots (+143)

Both of these players are great picks for shot totals tonight. They are both over 2.5 shot lines on DraftKings, when I think they could easily be over 3.5 shots. Brent Burns has hit o2.5 shots in 11/15 games, 73%. Nazem Kadri has hit o2.5 shots in 10/14 games, 71%. Statistically, there is over a 50% chance this parlay will hit tonight. I think those odds are even higher, considering the Flames and Canes are the 3rd/4th highest shooting teams and Burns is playing the 4th highest shots allowed average team in the Chicago Blackhawks.

Pick #2 – Tyler Toffoli o2.5 shots (-135)

Sticking with the Calgary Flames shots here, I will also be taking Tyler Toffoli tonight. The Flames average 36.4 shots per game, which is good enough for 3rd in the NHL. Toffoli has hit o2.5 shots in 10/14 games, 71%, and has hit in each of his last three games. Toffoli also played for the Kings in his career, so you would think he has a little more motivation to rip the puck tonight.

Pick #3 – Avalanche -1.5 (+130)

This isn’t the type of pick I usually make, but I was convinced it was a good play after looking deeper into it today. The Blues have bounced back, winning two games in a row, after going on an 8-game losing streak. During that losing streak they lost by at least 2 goals in 100% of the games. Although the Blues have bounced back, I think they will run into a hot Avalanche team tonight. The Avalanche are riding a 4 game win streak into tonight’s tilt. They are 4-1-1 at home this season and get to play the lowly Blues tonight. Overall, the Avalanche are 8-4-1 and have won 75% of those games by multiple goals. I am going out on a limb here with this pick; however, I really like the line at +130 and think all the historical data backs up this play.
